The Lichen Cube Bag is a unique, contemporary piece that merges fashion with conceptual art. Made from bamboo, sustainably preserved moss, raw linen and upcycled pearl chain and leather, it is a cornerstone of visula and material experiments in illegibility for the current collection by Laken van der Syl. In the vein of experimentations in de-coding the natural world, the three outward facing facades of the bag mimic QR-codes, but are ultimately unreadable, while every component of the bag is carefully selected to be naturally decomposing at the end of the bag's life-cycle.
