This power mesh by Penn TS is the foundation of all Laken van der Syl intimates.

The Topography Coat is made of Eco-Fi Felt by Aetna - made from 100% post-consumer Recycled Polyester Bottles*. Every inch of this fabric was hand-dyed at the home studio with Rit non-toxic synthetic dye.

A large majority of other textiles for use in garment-making are second-hand and upcycled - from tablecloths to raw silk curtains to re-purposed coat linings.
